Vocal Group Hall Of Fame 2003

This year the Vocal Group Hall of Fame did its usual top quality job in presenting the 2003 Hall of Fame inductions.
This is the entrance to the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. The Hall has three floors of extremely interesting displays with memorabilia from many artists of the Forties, fifties, sixties, seventies, and eighties.
Similar to the sidewalk at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, the Hall f Fame has inductees put their hand and footprints in fresh cement. We tried to get George in fresh cement, too, but he got away. Here Senator Robbins, staff member Tracy, Tony Butala, and Bob Crosby pose at the beginning of the ceremony.
Harold Jackson of the Inkspots puts his handprints in the sidewalk. Not bad for a 93 year old gentleman!
Martha Reeves of Martha and the Vandellas signs her name in cement during the festivities.
Mary Wilson of the Supremes also signs in.
This is a view of part of the Walk of Fame in front of the Columbia Theater.
Speaking of the Columbia Theater, the major renovation project is coming along nicely.
At the Induction Ceremony, 2003 Inductees Martha and the Vandellas accept their award.
All four of the original Four Lads were in attendance to receive their induction trophies.
Ed and George along with Larry Nelson, our engineer, Steve and Bobbi Sands, marketing directors for "Yesterday's Memories, photographer Brian Mahoney and F.A.M.E. director, Pat Benti all gather in the first floor of the Hall.
George is interviewing Mary Wilson of the Supremes during the sidewalk ceremony.
George and Dizz Russell of the Orioles talk about the induction festivities.
Before showtime at Cafaro Field, George gives a seminar about 50's and 60's music to a group of local high school students. They thoroughly enjoyed it!
Ed and George were MC's for a part of the induction concert at Cafaro Field. What a show!!
Charlie Thomas and Bill Pinkney, original members of the Drifters, did an awesome show.
All four original members of the Four Lads performed together for the very last time. It was a very emotional performance.
The Association did an outstanding job. They were definitely a crowd pleaser.
The finale, with all performers on stage at the same time, is always spectacular.
OK, the show's over. It's time for security to throw George out of the building. He'll be back next year.(Thanks for the warning)
